Acrylic yarn -4ply- [white, flesh, red and black]

Crochet Hook G6

Tapestry Needle

Fiberfill stuffing

1 pair of safety eyes [14mm]

Hat

Using RED

Row 1: ch2, 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook [5]

Row 2: 2sc in each st around [10]

Row 3: sc all around [10]

Row 4: *sc in next st, 2 sc in st after* repeat til end [15]

Row 5: sc all around [15]

Row 6: *sc in each of the next 2 sts, 2 sc in st after* repeat til end [20]

Row 7: sc all around [20]

Row 8: *sc in each of the next 3 sts, 2 sc in st after* repeat til end [25]

Row 9: sc all around [25]

Row 10: *sc in each of the next 4 sts, 2 sc in st after* repeat til end [30]

Row 11: sc all around [30]

Row 12: *sc in each of the next 5 sts, 2 sc in st after* repeat til end [35]

Fasten off, do not leave a tail..if you have a little tail, just weave it through the stitches

BALL THING FOR THE HAT

2dc in 4th ch from hook, sl st in next st, *ch 3, 2dc in next st, sl st in next* repeat the pattern from* to * 2x, *ch4, make 3 treble crochet [TR] in next st, sl st in next* repeat from * to *4 times, *ch 3, 2dc in next st, sl st in next* repeat 4x

fasten off and make sure to cut off a very long tail because you’ll use that to sew the beard on the face

ASSEMBLY:

  1. Place the safety eyes on Santa’s face
  2. Sew on a little mouth for Santa
  3. Sew on Santa’s beard following the white part of his face [there’s gonna be a little face that’s flesh and just sew around it…sew it on the surrounding white stitches]
  4. Stuff the head
  5. Stuff the arms and the legs
  6. Sew on legs to the body
  7. Stuff the body until the half part
  8. Sew on the arms to the body
  9. Finish stuffing the body
  10. Sew on head to the body
  11. Lightly stuff the ball thing
  12. Sew on the ball thing to the top of the hat
  13. Put his little hat on top
  14. HAVE FUN PLAYING WITH LITTLE SANTA!
